A New Age

Abby wants a new bed. Pronto. She wants a Princess Loft bed to be specific.

She tells me she wants to see it and I say, "Okay, let's see" as I google options, and she prompts, "It's beds.com"

That looks really cool but is so out of our budget. BUT, I'm thinking I could make a really good knockoff. Inexpensive bed, fabric, little ladder. I wouldn't put a slide on it because that's just asking for trouble with Rachel and bedtime, and we have enough issues some evenings without adding to the insanity! But this is such a cute idea. I like the hideout underneath and the color scheme. I was thinking I wanted to get Rachel a twin size bed for her 5th birthday since she'd be outgrowing her toddler bed before much longer than that, anyway. I may show her this one and see if she wants me to get her one like that. A somewhat ambitious project, but if I start early, I can get it done. I've got 5 months, after all.
