This from the "Ballerina in the Slums" series?
Good point... intentional social commentary... thats it...
How I Sang And Danced My Way Out of the Slums~a memoir
You will have to expand your photoshop skills to alter or blur these inadequate backgrounds. However, it is a great picture and when looked at as a social documentery.....
the background IS blurred... and I like that my FRONT DRIVEWAY has been referred to as a slum by the peanut gallery.
Its funny, all I have to do is throw a trash can into the background of a scene and it immediately redefines the shot as a filthy rat-infested dive.
That's not ALL... geez, am I never to be appreciated in my own time? There's also abandoned computer equipment.
The traffic cone is definitely a nice subtle touch.
