18 down, 17 to go...

At first, I was really really happy with the 18 cases...

Ok, no anxiety.

I'm still really happy with 18 cases. It's only one day. It's going to come slower now, but now I only have 17 do get sold in two weeks. THAT is doable.

This selling things for school thing sure has changed. Didn't we sell $1 chocolate bars when we went to school (insert Dave's age crack here)? Or magazine subscriptions? Or wrapping paper? This whole buying crates of fruit just sounds so shady and odd. Do we have to pick it up at the docks? Now I will be anxiously waiting to see what my son will be selling - cocaine stuffed teddy bears, perhaps?

If your age shows, then so does mine - that is WHERE the whole World's Finest Chocolate search debacle started (see my earlier blog). I never did wrapping paper.

Haze - look at you remembering to read my blog where I pour out my heart and soul and usually you ignore me!! You have got to have connections from your Coke days (thats Coca Cola not cocaine stuffed teddybears)that will just buy 35 crates all by themselves.

oh, and just for the record - there are 42 POUNDS of oranges in a crate (approx 72 oranges) and 36 pounds of grapefruit (36-40).... thems a lot of citrus.

Don't be alarmed when you see me standing at the freeway exit with my box of produce. I don't think I've eaten 72 oranges in my life...
