Controversial Post
I know a lot of you are going to adamantly disagree with me here. I respect your feelings, but I just have to share. Steve gave Abby our traditional Christmas music (traditional in that its the same CD we listen to every year) tonight and listening to it just chokes me up. Maybe I should be listening to more Inspirational music in normal life - because this just fills me to the brim with God-happiness.

now who would disagree about that?! only a scrooge, i tell you. i am dying to get our Christmas music out. it has the same effect on me, and i have a feeling this year will be even more powerful for both of us b/c it will remind us of last year when our dear boys were about to enter this world. wow.
In what way is this "controversial"? I don't believe there are many people who will not relate. I even become uplifted by the elevator music around the holidays...hows that for lame?
Many people are quite vexed when Christmas music starts up before Thanksgiving
Growing up in my family, we used to put it on in October or even earlier sometimes. You have to pace yourself when you start it that early, though, or you're totally sick of it by the time Christmas actually arrives.
We started throwing a song or two into the iTunes mix a few weeks ago and are now listening to a decent amount of Christmas music along with other stuff.
