I'm in Love

Thanks to a gift from my dad I bought a fixed 50mm lens. And I like it... alot... David (aka grandpa) suggested a fixed lens, uncomplicated by other bells and whistles such as zooms, may be a sharper lens. Wellllll I think he's right. This picture is funny to use because I got twelve of the most gorgeous pictures of this sweetheart, but this was the best example of the sharpness of the eyes I've been trying to get for months now. I still can't quite figure out how to quickly convince the camera to focus directly on what I want it to - but I'll get there.
