Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

So, we started off early afternoon by loading the girls i
n the car with Steve, loading the boys in the car with the moms and leaving Chris to his own accord at work.  The moms went to eat with the boys.  The girls went to town with Steve... I don't know what Chris was doin
g.
THEN the moms went on the metro Gold Line to Red Line to Blue Line and the only real issue was that Gus (who had been thus far sleeping off the trauma of his first shots) woke up starving and wet during the Red Line... which we were on for an all too short and yet all too long 4 minutes.
Chris picked us up from the Metro at 5
- the perfect time to head out of town on a Friday.
We checked in with Steve to make sure he was surviving.  He said the girls were absolutely miserable and they were going back home.  The delighted giggles and shouts coming from behind him on the phone made me doubt the validity of his claim.

He said the trip had actually gone great and the only problem was that he'd made them CDs that they didn't listen to because they had a dvd going and they wouldn't let him sing either.  Poor Steve.
